Begin your journey on the outskirts of Kastoria, leaving the urban pace behind for the tranquility of nature. Hike a total distance of 4.5 km, making it an ideal choice for those who want to see the town from above without a grueling day-long trek.

As you ascend, your guide will share insights about the local environment and the unique geography of Lake Orestiada. The trail offers a gentle introduction to the area’s flora, but keep your energy for the grand finale. The final stretch is a very steep incline right before the summit. It’s a short, heart-pumping challenge that makes reaching the top even more rewarding.

Once at the summit, the entire peninsula of Kastoria unfolds at your feet. Take plenty of time to rest and snap souvenir photos with the stunning backdrop of the city and the lake.
